Janet Pogue McLaurin is a global leader of Gensler’s Workplace Sector. During her 33 years at Gensler, Janet has been instrumental in leading Gensler’s workplace research including the 2016 and 2013 U.S. Workplace Surveys, and developing Gensler’s Workplace Performance Index tool, which measures workplace effectiveness for Gensler projects. Janet takes an active role on key projects across the firm with responsibility for developing workplace strategy and designing innovative workplace environments for a wide variety of clients in both government and private sector industries including the IMF, GSA, Capital One, CEB, Gallup, and 3M.
Janet is a sought after media spokesperson and frequent speaker. She has shared her workplace expertise and research with the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, BBC, and NPR. Janet has spoken at numerous premier conferences and industry meetings, including CoreNet Global, IFMA World Workplace, NAIOP, ULI, Harvard LILA, and SXSW.
